Holy Spirit Church is a community of people who desire to worship God in the Anglican tradition, to witness about Jesus Christ as our Savior and Lord, and to walk daily with the power of the Holy Spirit in our lives. We seek to remain connected to ancient Christian beliefs and practices, while at the same time making these available to present and future generations in the College Area of San Diego. We are members of the newly formed Anglican Church in North America that seeks to make followers of Jesus Christ by launching 1000 new congregations in the next five years.
Holy Spirit church is connected to the worldwide Anglican Communion with its 85 million people on six continents. Anglican Christianity is rooted in the Scriptures, the ancient faith and practice of the first century, and the English Reformation of the 16th century. A key ingredient of our Anglican heritage is a rich, interactive worship experience that includes beautiful music, biblical teaching, responsive prayer, and weekly communion. We place special emphasis on the church as a family by serving lunch after each Sunday worship service.
We gather for worship on Sunday mornings at 9:30 am, in the chapel of Bethel Seminary, 6116 Arosa Street, ½ block off College Avenue between Montezuma Road and El Cajon Boulevard in the College Area.
