We believe that God’s people flourish most when we worship Him using the gifts He has given us. At Holy Spirit Anglican Church, you are welcome and encouraged to use your strengths and passions – whether they be logistical, creative or pastoral – to serve God and to strengthen the ministry of His Church.
Our ministry team schedule is made quarterly, and team-members are always encouraged to join more ministries or take a break, depending on the season you are in. A quarterly schedule allows for freedom to experiment, try new ways of serving, and to see what sticks. We believe that serving on a ministry team is also a wonderful way to receive – to receive community, to receive training, and to receive the blessings that come when we use our gifts to worship the living God.

Greeter and Usher Team
The Greeter/Usher Team is a wonderful place to start. Each week, two ushers work together to greet members and visitors as they arrive, and assist other leaders in a few ways throughout the service. This role is key to making sure that each individual who walks through our doors feels welcomed and wanted.
Strengthen your musical and spiritual gifts by joining our musicians and singers for Sunday worship.
Teach, befriend, and learn with our children (ages 3-7) during Sunday School. Our curriculum provides teachers and students with both structure and creative freedom as we worship God with song, craft, and story.
Service Setup and Take-down
We believe that the physical space we use to worship God matters. Our setup and take-down team ensures that all elements used in a service of worship – from the processional cross to the bread and wine of Eucharist – is ready for action.
Join our team of trained prayer ministers to pray with individual members and visitors during Communion.
We treasure God’s Word, and we treasure the powerful experience of reading, hearing, feeling and seeing it spoken aloud each week.
Holy Communion is where we are most intimately met by God. While only a priest can bless the bread and wine, we love for all believers to be represented at the Table. Men and women of faith are welcome and encouraged to participate in this act of service and union by administering the sacraments to members and visitors.
Join the nursery team to care for arguably our cutest congregants during the sermon of our Sunday worship service.
