Christmas Gifts for Mission Academy Students:
You can use THIS LINK to access the SDRM Christmas Wish List. There are four (4) items requested, however many of each item are needed as each student will be receiving gifts. Purchase what you would like, according to your budget.
Season Items Needed at SDRM:
There are seasonal items in desperate need right now at SDRM which will benefit both Mission Academy Students as well as their short-term guests at their various satellite campuses throughout the county. (Some items can be very gently used but new is preferred.)
Items Needed:
(1) Seasonal (Winter) clothing for Men + Women in XL and larger
(2) Underwear (must be brand-new in packaging)
(3) Socks for Men + Women (warm)
(4) Bath towels
I-See-You Hygiene Kits + Christmas Cards
At our Advent Party, we will have an opportunity to write Christmas Cards to those receiving the gifts and items we’ve collected. Additionally, we will be assembling seasonal (winter-themed) hygiene kits to be shared with others who continue to experience homelessness. More details are coming on this part of the project. However, please note that the Vestry is using budgeted funds for this project, and all are invited to help with assembly and praying for the recipients.
